The rhythm section from the band "COOL JOE" has joined forces to focus their musical talents under the name of "ENCORE". They have put together a dynamic unit that will showcase more than just their musical talent. Whether "ENCORE" is performing for corporate, college, club, or concert events, they bring more music, song and dance to the stage. An "ENCORE" live show is sure to entertain all.

As "COOL JOE", They have been recognized as Creative Loafings "Best R&B Band", won on Ed McMann’s Star Search Talent Competition, tied with "Outcast" for the Coca Cola 1994 Music Award for Best New or Local Talent, won the Budweiser Bud Dry and Bud Light Talent Competition and performed at the A-Town Music Awards Show. The band has also been featured on the Budweiser Superfest and The Benson and Hedges Club tour.

The members of "ENCORE" have shared the stage with top R&B/Rap artists such as James Brown, The Ohio Players, The GAP Band, Kool And The Gang, Patti LaBelle, Frankie Beverly and Maze, After 7, BBD (Bell, Biv, Devoe), SWV, Silk, Shai, MC Lyte, Tag Team, Morris Day and The Time, War, Pieces Of A Dream, The Wailers, Color Me Badd, Dee- Lite, and De La Soul. They have also worked on production teams with Eric McCain (Kut Klose, Keith Sweat), Too $hort and Ruff Ryders. Band members have produced musical segments for major corporations such as MTV, Warner Brothers, Turner Broadcasting, HBO Pictures, Reebok and Nike.
